Iron Man & One Month pics

Yesterday we took the boys to meet Iron Man.  He had flown in from working with the Avengers for a day for a meet and greet with kiddos ;)  The boys weren't afraid at all!  The ran right up to him and struck their Iron Man pose.  Then we hung around for about 15 minutes just staring at him!  They were the happiest little men EVER.  Even Kale was pretty excited.

ONE MONTH

Holy cow!  Where does the time go?  I mean really... four weeks old already!  Rosemary Charlotte is the big one month today.  It has gone by so fast.  She is a champ.  She eats every three hours and slurps down 4oz at each feeding.  She is still sleeping a lot during the day.  She stays awake for about an hour around lunch and then wakes up in the evening when daddy gets home.  She is very content swinging in her swing, laying out on a blanket on the floor, or of course being held.  She only fusses when she is hungry or dirty.  She loves having a bath but doesn't like having lotion put on, just like big bro Fletch!  Rosie isn't a fan of her pacifier, but is starting to use it a little more often between feedings.  She is just about too big for newborn diapers.  I'm thinking maybe one more bag and then moving on up to size 1.  Her newborn clothes were cute while they lasted, but 0-3 month is what we are putting her in more often.  The newborn just aren't long enough.  At her two week appointment she weighed 7lbs 8oz and she has only gotten bigger since then.  Today at her appointment she weighed a big ol' 8lbs 13oz!   Miss Rose is a great sleeper at night.  She still eats around 10 and then wakes once at 3 and sleeps until 6ish.    Then it starts the every three hour feedings throughout the day time.  ONE time at night!  I'll take it :)  Much easier than the every two hours with the duo!

Loving the tummy time.

The men are loving their sister.  They are so sweet with her.  I'm always finding Avengers or Ninja Turtles tucked in with her wherever she might be laying.  They still "pet" her and will give her kisses.

Rosemary's bodyguards at their finest!

So far she has been to church three times, the zoo, jump zone, Branson, and WM and Target a countless number of times.  The girl is a great shopper and a wonderful traveler.  She isn't a huge fan of her car seat  but once she settles in she does okay.
We are so blessed.  I thank God daily for my amazing family.  I never would have dreamed that I'd be this lucky!
These brothers love their little sister :)
 Big One month old!

Jump Zone

Today we met our friend Asher for an afternoon of bouncing fun at Jump Zone.  This was our first time and I can't believe that we haven't been before now!  The boys had a great time.  It was so cute to watch them follow one another around.  They really look out for each other.  Once they got the hang of it all they went their separate ways, but they didn't stray far from one another.  Asher played so nice with them too.  This summer is going to be so much fun with all of our two year old friends.

Here are some action shots from today.  They aren't the best.  You imagine trying to get a good shot of a two year old jumping like a crazy person!
Rosemary was slightly unimpressed with it all!
 Having fun in Spongebob...
 Finding Nemo
Going down the slide head first!
The three Amigos!
 Jumping in Nemo
 Now you see him...
 Brothers stick together

 A little driving time.
This was the FUNNIEST thing.  The boys were trying to climb up the steep stairs, but one would fall and wipe the other two out.  They laughed so hard!  Then they would all get up and try it again.

Finally made it to the top and then down they go!

Shoes on and ready to head home.  Until next time!

Zoo with THREE monkeys!

Last weekend we took off to the zoo.  It was a beautiful day, 60's, and a little overcast.  The rain held off until we were on our way home.  The zoo wasn't crowded at all and we got there right after they had fed the animals.  They were all out walking around and sounding off.  It was wonderful!  The boys had a great time.  They had been asking to go all week and were SO excited to finally get there.
My chimps!

The tortoises were eating their breakfast.  One of them is 130 years old!  I think the tortoises were one of the favorites of the day.  The boys still talk about how they burped when the were eating.
Turtle riding!
While we were looking at the monkeys, our smallest one need to chow down!  It was a nice spot to stop and feed.  Rosie and I hung around and watched the chimps chasing one another while the boys and Tonka took off to see the giraffes.
 Beautiful baby!
The penguins were waiting to be fed.  Only one was swimming around in the water.  He was a friendly guy though.  He kept swimming right up to the glass..
The boys are the size of an Emperor penguin.  That would be kind of creepy to see one that big.

Flamingos were a hit as usual.  The men practiced standing like them.

Even Daddy practiced being a flamingo.
Then we rode the train.
Fletch was holding Kale's hand.  So sweet!
 Daddy and his boy.
 Tonka and Roo!
Then we had some play time at the playground.
 Love this picture!

 Next stop, petting zoo.
 Goat love
We hadn't left the parking lot before Fletch was out!
Rooster hung on a little longer, but not by much.

Great trip to the zoo.  Rosie had a great time for only being two weeks old and it was nice for me to get out and walk around in the fresh air.  Can't wait to go back this Spring!
