Mom to be of THREE...

Well, I did the unthinkable yesterday... Kale and I made the leap, the really big leap, like big big leap... we traded in the Volvo for a bigger car.

I cannot tell you how close we were to buying a minivan, but in the end we walked away as happy owners of a new 4WD Pilot.

Seating 8 makes it the perfect fit for our growing family, and it will allow the kiddos to spread out when they begin going through the, "He's touching me" phase.

Well, that's that.  Just wanted to share our exciting news!  Have a blessed beautiful Sunday.

Labor Day 2012

The Farmer clan did the usual for Labor Day... relaxed in good old Newton County and enjoyed the outdoors and Buffalo River.  Fletcher and I were a tad under the weather, but the relaxing did our bodies good!  Here is an overview of the extended weekend.
Friday:
Whirlwind of a day!  Taught all day and then had to leave to rush to a doctor's appointment.  While there, we got to hear the Lone Ranger's heart go thump, thump and mommy got a handful of prescriptions to help treat the symptoms of the virus I've been trying to fight off.  Then we were off to the cabin.
Saturday:
We had a yummy breakfast, complements of Pop, and then took our normal relaxing mid morning nap.  After that we loaded up and hit the big city of Jasper ;)  After our sightseeing we headed back to the cabin for some game time before dinner at the Ozark Cafe.  It was delicious as always.  The Razorback game awaited us when we got back home.

The Family :)  With baby Porter or Rosemary on board!
 Stop and smell the flowers.

Direct quote... "I'm a Zombie, I'm gonna eat your brains."
Sunday:
Again with the breakfast!  And again with the mid morning nap!  Then it was a day of splish splash swimming in the Buffalo.  The guys had a great time playing with Lolly, Pop, Dad, and Jake.  Aunt Carrie and I watched from the sidelines!
Swimming!

Monday:
We all woke up and loaded up to head for home.  The rest of our day was spent at car lots searching for that bigger vehicle that is in our near future!  Then we made a stop at Yankee Candle to purchase our new Fall scents!  Yummy, the house smells AMAZING.  We made it home in time to unpack, wash clothes, and relax before starting the busy short week.  I'm not sure why, but short weeks are always the ones that seem the longest!

The "stand on the edge of the loft for a picture and give mommy a heart attack" photos!

We hope you all had a great weekend.  Enjoy the week.
