12 Weeks... 3 MONTHS

Rose Pose is the big 3.  Three months that is!  She is such a doll.

So, here is the run down!
*The chunk wears 3-6 month clothes.. more on the 6 month side!
*She eats about 32oz a day.

*Rose naps off and on, but regular naps are becoming more established since she is more alert during the day.  She likes a long nap around 10:30-11until 1 and then another long nap from 3-5.
*She goes to bed around 9 and doesn't wake again until 5 in the MORNING!!!  This is so AWESOME :)
*Diapers are a size 2.

*We get to start cereal this month.  I'm pretty pumped.  I think she is going to love it.  Let's face it... the girl likes her chow!
*She is loving her bouncy seat.  She has just started reaching for the toys that hang down.  She also is fond of her Bumbo.  She looks like such a big girl sitting in it!

Her brothers are the BEST big bros EVER.  I'm so thankful to have such amazing kids.  Just so blessed.  Miss Kat comes back to work on Monday.  Maybe then she can take three month pictures of the little toot.

133 WEEKS!

It's been awhile since I've given an update on the duo, so here it is!
Fletch and Roo are doing fabulous.  They are huge and healthy.  F Mac is 37.5 inches and Roo is 37 inches tall.  F Mac weighs 29 and Roo is 30 pounds.  Both boys are wearing 3-4T shirts and 2T pants.  The men wear pull ups during the day and are doing pretty well with the whole potty thing.  We aren't 100%, but they are making great progress.  More times than not they have dry naps.  They are so proud when they do this!  Feet... are HUGE!  Fletch wears a size 10 and Rooster is a 9.5.
Action heros are our FAVORITE.  Most of the time Fletch is sporting his "Captain da Merica" mask or his Ninja Turtle bandanna.  I'm not sure it was the best idea to buy them Ninja Turtle swords or big sticks, but they love to roll play.  They are saving the world 24 hours a day!  I do find myself saying, "Don't hi-ya your brother." about 100 times a day.  Another phrase heard often is, "Get off of his head!"  They love to tackle one another and then jump on the other's head.  Boys will be boys!  More than once we've had to tell them not to tackle in church.
Some favorite phrases that they sputter out are...
A:  I'm going to get the big ol' truck.
F:  I must save the world.
A:  Mom, you a lady.  I love you.
F:  You tell mommy when you need to go potty.  Do you understand me, Anderson? (Fletch is the potty Nazi.)
A: That will be fun, fun, fun!
F:  Whatcha talkin' about Willis?!
The boys have slept in their big boy twin beds since December.  They go right to sleep at night.  8 is bedtime and they awake around 7am.  They take one nap a day; sleeping from 11-1.  The rest of the day it is go, go,go!

Both boys have known their ABC's since last summer but are now working on the letter sounds.  They can count to 15 but after that it gets a little rocky!  Their favorite songs to sing are The Pirates Who Don't do Anything and I Know a Chicken.  They also love to do the Electric Slide.  Still working on our right and left!
The duo plays outside every time they get the chance.  We have a huge pirate flag flying on the play structure.  They call it their pirate ship.  Yesterday we sat outside for two hours and them men played and played.  I don't have to entertain them at all!  They truly are best friends.  Yes, they fight, but they hug and love one another too!
They also LOVE Rose.  Fletch likes to pet her face and kiss on her belly.  Rooster likes to read her books and tickle her toes.
Kale and I couldn't be more blessed.  These boys are amazing and perfect.  Our love for them grows more and more each day.  They crack us up and sure do keep it lively :)
The past 133 weeks have been awesome!

TWO MONTHS!

I can't believe that 8 weeks have passed since we brought our baby Rosie home!  Today we had her two month check-up.  The little darling weighs 12.2 lbs and is 23 inches long.  The doctor seemed very pleased with her head shape, milestones, and mighty impressed with her 32 ounces a day.  She still eats every three hours.  She goes to bed at 10-10:30 and sleeps until 3:30-4.  Then it is back to the every three hour feedings.  Her feet are straightening out and she is starting to smile and coo back at us.  That smile is a killer!!  The big bros are still lovin' her.  Fletch and Anderson are HUGE helpers.  They like to read her books and play Avengers with her.  Sometimes she even gets to be Black Widow :)
Miss Kat came and snapped some pics for the big two months.  Here are just a few that she got.
Check out those BLUE eyes!

We took a trip to Texas last week to see Papaw, Grammie, and Mamaw.  The boys had a great time playing outside at Mamaw's house.  Of course we all ate like pigs and enjoyed every bite of Mamaw's home cookin'.  We got to go to church with Mamaw and go visit Grandpa Mike and Emma Sunday afternoon.  The boys love seeing their family and showing off their little sister.  On our way out of town we made a stop at CEC to play with Grammie and Papaw.  I think that Daddy and Papaw had more fun than the little men.
Hanging out at Mamaw's house.
Playing in the backseat.  It was a long trip... they got creative on how to entertain themselves!

Looking at picture books with Mamaw.
 After Church :)
We went to dinner last night and Miss R sported her camo.  Hey, there's a first time for everything!!

Hiking About...

Today was an absolutely beautiful day!  After church we decided to go home take our nap and then hit the trails.  We took the fam on a nature hike.  The boys had a wonderful time.  They always like stompin around on the trails and looking for bears!  We struck out today... no bears to be found :)  We did find some worms, really cool trees, and lots of sticks to pick up and throw about.

Rosemary enjoyed her first hike and it was so nice for me to be able to be back on the trails.  Hiking was one of the things I missed the most towards the end of my pregnancy!

Now, the Farmer Crew is tuckered out.  Bellies have been fed, baths have been taken, and beds are full in this house!  Tomorrow brings another great day.  Have a good week everyone.

Iron Man & One Month pics

Yesterday we took the boys to meet Iron Man.  He had flown in from working with the Avengers for a day for a meet and greet with kiddos ;)  The boys weren't afraid at all!  The ran right up to him and struck their Iron Man pose.  Then we hung around for about 15 minutes just staring at him!  They were the happiest little men EVER.  Even Kale was pretty excited.

Today we had Miss Kat over to take Rosie's one month pictures.  Those of you who have Facebook have seen the pictures, but there are a lot of you who aren't "Facebookers" so here they are!  I can't believe how big that baby girl is getting.  She is just perfect!

 Still has those blue eyes!!
 Happy One Month baby girl.
Have a great week everyone.
